NFL Week 14 Opening Odds & Totals
(The Spread) – Week 14 in the NFL is highlighted by a great Monday Night Football matchup and multiple divisional showdowns. Let’s check out the opening odds. The marquee matchup in Week 14 will take place in New England on Monday Night Football when the Patriots host the Houston Texans in a matchup of AFC powerhouses. According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Patriots are 4-point favorites versus the Texans, while the over/under total opened at 53 points. A couple of divisional matchups to keep an eye on are the battle between the Bears and Vikings in Minnesota, as well as the Sunday night contest in Green Bay between the Lions and Packers. The Bears are 2-point favorites over the Vikings, while the Packers are favored by a touchdown versus the Lions. Although the Saints’ playoff hopes are pretty much dead, they’ll head to New York for an intriguing matchup with the Giants. New Orleans has opened as a 5-point favorite versus New York, while the over/under total is 53. The Thursday night matchup this week will pit the Broncos versus the Raiders, who are 9.5-point home underdogs. On Sunday, the Browns are 4.5-point favorites versus the Chiefs, the Titans are 3.5-point road underdogs versus the Colts, while the 11-1 Falcons are 3.5-point road favorites against the Panthers in Carolina.
