SEATTLE: With their 28-7 victory over the Jets two weeks ago, the Seahawks are now 6-4 overall and 7-3 against the spread after covering as a 5-point favorite. They’ve now covered the spread in two straight games and in five of their last six contests. Seattle is also on a modest two-game winning streak after beating Minnesota and New York at home. That said, the Hawks are 1-4 on the road this year where they’ve failed to cover in every game but one (a 16-12 win over the Panthers as a 1-point underdog). Russell Wilson leads the team with 475 passing yards while Marshawn Lynch has a team-high 1,005 rushing yards and Sidney Rice has six touchdown passes.

MIAMI: The Dolphins have now lost three straight games following their 19-14 effort versus the Bills last Thursday night. Rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill completed 14-of-28 passes for 141 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, while Reggie Bush was held to 20 yards on 10 carries. Miami failed to cover the spread as a 1-point underdog and has now failed to cover the number in three straight games. They’re 4-6 overall and 4-6 against the spread, while the under has hit in seven of the Dolphins’ 10 games this season. With their playoff hopes fading fast, Miami needs to get on a winning streak if it has any hopes of sneaking into the postseason.

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Seahawks are 3-point favorites over the Dolphins, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 37.5 points. Seattle is 6-4 overall and 1-4 on the road, while Miami is 4-6 overall and 2-2 at home.

TRENDS: The Seahawks are 1-4 against the spread in their last five games versus the Dolphins, while the road team is 5-1 against the number in the last six games between these two teams.
