NFL Week 12 Las Vegas Odds

(The Spread) – The odds and totals for all of the Week 12 games in the NFL have been posted by Las Vegas oddsmakers. Let’s check out the spreads for some of the marquee matchups.

The NFL will feature three games on Thanksgiving Day this year, as the Detroit Lions will host the Houston Texans in the first matchup, the Washington Redskins will visit NFC East rival Dallas in the afternoon game, and the New York Jets will host AFC East foe the New England Patriots in the nightcap. The Lions are 3-point home underdogs while the Cowboys are 3-point home favorites and the Patriots are 6-point road favorites according to oddsmakers from the MGM Mirage in Las Vegas.

On Sunday it’ll be a battle of NFC South rivals when the red-hot Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Atlanta Falcons. The game opened at Atlanta –1 but according to oddsmakaers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the matchup is now a pick’em. The total for that game is sitting at 49, as Tampa Bay hasn’t scored fewer than 27 points in a game in five consecutive weeks.

One other matchup on Sunday that’s worth noting is the San Francisco-New Orleans game at 4:25PM ET. There might not be any team playing better ball right now than the Saints, who are trying to claw their way back into contention. They’re currently 2.5-point home favorites for Sunday’s game with the 49ers, who crushed the Bears 32-7 on “Monday Night Football” in Week 11.

One of the best matchups in Week 12 will be on “Sunday Night Football” when the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants host the Green Bay Packers at 8:30PM ET. The game opened at New York –1.5 but the line has been bet up to 3 at some sports books in Vegas. And that’s surprising given how much the Giants have struggled over the past couple of weeks, including quarterback Eli Manning.
