The rookie quarterback for the 49ers made a big splash in the team’s 45-31 win over the Packers last week. Kaepernick threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 181 yards and two scores. According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Kaepernick has been given over/under odds of 60.5 rushing yards and 235.5 passing yards for Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Falcons.

Kaepernick has thrown for 1,814 yards and rushed for 415 yards in eight starts during the regular season. He has thrown for at least 236 yards in three of his eight starts while rushing for at least 61 yards in two of his starts. His rushing output last week was by far his best total of the season, which is why his over/under is so high for this game.

The Falcons have an average defense, but they have struggled against the run. Atlanta allowed an average of 123.2 yards per game on the ground, which put them 12^th-worst in the NFL. When it came to the passing game, Atlanta gave up an average of 242.4 passing yards per game during the regular season, which put them 10^th-worst in the NFL.
