(TheSpread) – The West Region appears to be the most wide open region of the NCAA Tournament. Here is a look at the odds to claim this regional title. Other short odds to win are Ohio State (11/4) and New Mexico (5/1). Gonzaga is the top seed in the region. The Bulldogs won the West Coast Conference regular season and tournament titles, as it went 16-0 in conference play and 31-2 overall. Gonzaga has never reached a Final Four. Ohio State is the No. 2 seed in the region. The Buckeyes are 26-7 overall and 13-5 in the Big Ten. Ohio State won the Big Ten Tournament title this past weekend. Ohio State has reached 11 Final Fours in program history, including last season. New Mexico is the No. 3 seed in the region. The Lobos are 29-5 overall and 13-3 in conference play, winning the Mountain West regular season and tournament championships. New Mexico has never reached the Final Four in program history.
