NEW YORK (AP) - The Oakland Athletics have sold infielder Brandon Hicks to the New York Mets. The 27-year-old was claimed off waivers from Atlanta on March 13 and hit .172 with three homers and seven RBIs in 22 games. He also hit .244 with 18 homers and 61 RBIs at Triple-A Sacramento. The trade was announced Monday. |
