St. Pierre retains title
MONTREAL, Quebec (TheSpread) – Georges St. Pierre returned to action with a victory over Carlos Condit in the main event of UFC 154 on Saturday night. The co-main event of Saturday’s card saw Johny Hendricks knock out Martin Kampmann in the first round of their welterweight clash. There wasn’t much to the fight, as Hendricks won in just 46 seconds. Hendricks was patient with his striking, feeling out Kampmann for timing before throwing a big right-left combo that put Kampmann out.
